SPARERIBS WITH HONEY BBQ SAUCE

 

3 lbs. spareribs, cut in serving pieces

Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder

Place ribs in shallow roasting pan in a single layer. Roast in 350 degree oven. Brush with Honey Barbecue Sauce. Continue baking and basting until ribs are tender and glazed (about 1 hour).

HONEY BARBECUE SAUCE:

¾ cup honey
½ cup ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon style mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 garlic clove, pressed
¼ cup oil

Simmer all ingredients together 5 minutes. Yield: 1-1/2 cups. Leftover sauce can be refrigerated and used on chicken, pork or anything grilled!
