HERB MARINATED TENDERLOIN

1 cup Burgundy or other dry red wine
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 bay leaf
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp dried whole thyme
½ clove garlic, crushed
4 – 8oz tenderloin steaks

Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing well; pour into a large shallow dish. Add steak; cover dish and marinate at least 24 hours in the refrigerator, turning steak occasionally. Remove steak from marinade. Grill approximately 8 to 9 minutes on each side over medium heat or until desired degree of doneness.
