REVERSED SEARED T-BONE STEAK

Ingredients:

2 in cut T-Bone Steak
Salt and Pepper to taste or Favorite Steak Seasoning
1 Tbs Avocado Oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Place well seasoned steaks on a rack over a baking tray (cover the tray with foil to save yourself a clean up)

Put in oven and cook until an internal temp of 125-135 degrees F, depending on your preference of “doneness”. Usually takes around 45-60 minutes. Can also be done on smoker using your favorite smoking wood.

Use an instant thermometer inserted on the side of the meat, tip of the probe should be in the middle of the steak for best temp reading. Remove when at temp and rest for 10 minutes under foil.

Preheat a cast iron skillet or can be placed on outdoor grill pre-heated to screamingly hot temperatures.

Sear steaks for one minute all sides.

Serve immediately.

Tips: Can also use Ribeye, Beef Fillet, Porterhouse and NY Strips. Make sure the cut is at least 1 inch (the thicker the better).

Internal Temperature Guide: Rare: 125F, Medium Rare: 130F, Medium:  140F, Well Done:  160F.
