2-3 lbs Hirsch’s Drumettes
4 oz. Plugra, Salted butter
2 Tbs garlic clove, minced
2 Tbs Ancho Chili Powder
2 Tbs Chili Powder
1 cup hot sauce (recommended: Frank’s)
1 cup Tim’s Texas 2 Step BBQ Sauce
½ cup honey
Melt butter over medium heat in saucepan, add garlic, ancho, and chili powder and stir for 20 seconds.
Stir in Hot Sauce, Tim’s Texas 2 Step BBQ Sauce and Honey.
Continue to cook sauce for 5-6 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Cool sauce completely, reserve 1 to 2 cups for dipping. Then pour sauce over the drumettes and marinate 12 to 24 hours.
Marinated wings now can be cooked on the grill, smoker or oven.
Make sure chicken is cooked to 165 degrees F, internal temperature.
